Method 1: Use Detergent, Water and Bleach

  • Mix 1 gallon of water and 2 tablespoons of laundry detergent.
  • Add up to 2 tablespoons of liquid clothe bleach if the purse is white.
  • Mix until suds form.
  • Dip a cloth into the mixture then wring out until it’s slightly damp.
  • Gently dab the stained area.
  • Rinse purse off with cold water using a sponge or soft cloth.
  • Let air dry.

Method 2: Rubbing Alcohol

  • Moisten a cloth with rubbing alcohol.
  • Rub the stained area in small circles.
  • Allow the rubbing alcohol to sit on the stain for at least five minutes before rinsing.
  • Rinse the purse off with cold water using a sponge or soft cloth.
  • Let air dry.

Method 3: Hydrogen Peroxide

  • Mix 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide solution with 1 teaspoon of liquid dish soap.
  • Soak a soft cloth in the mixture then wring it out until its damp.
  • Gently rub stained area in small circles.
  • Allow the mixture to sit on stain for five minutes.
  • Rinse the purse off with cold water using a sponge or soft cloth.
  • Let air dry.
