Here's what you'll need to clean blood from your fleece:
It's important to act quickly when you spill blood on your fleece so that it doesn't have a chance to set into the fabric. Start by blotting the stain with a clean cloth or paper towel. This will help to absorb as much of the blood as possible before you move on to next step.
Create a mixture of half dishwashing soap and half cold water and use a clean cloth to dab it on the stained area. Work the mixture into fabric, being careful not to rub the stain as this can cause it to spread. Once stain has been worked in, rinse the fabric with cold water. Repeat this process until the stain is almost gone.
If the stain is still visible, create a paste using equal parts white vinegar and salt and apply it to the stained area. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes before rinsing it off. You may need to repeat this process several times before stain is fully removed.
If all else fails, try using a commercial stain remover. Make sure to read the instructions on the label carefully before applying it to the fabric. Once the stain is gone, rinse the fabric with cold water and then launder it as usual.
With just a few simple steps, you can easily remove blood stains from your fleece. Just remember to act quickly, use right cleaning solutions, and keep rinsing and repeating until the stain is gone.
