  • Cold water
  • Mild liquid detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Soft-bristle brush
  • Dish soap
  • A dark-colored cloth
  • A clean, dry cloth

Steps to Cleaning a Blood Stain From Duchesse Lace

  1. Use a dark-colored cloth to blot up as much of the excess blood as possible.
  2. Rinse the stained area with cold water and blot the excess liquid with the cloth.
  3. Create a solution of mild liquid detergent and cold water, and dab affected area.
  4. Mix 1 teaspoon of white vinegar and 1 teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide in 1/4 cup of cold water.
  5. Using a soft-bristle brush, rub this solution into stained area and rinse with cold water.
  6. Create a soapy mixture using a few drops of dish soap and half a cup of cold water. Rub this onto the stain with the brush.
  7. Blot area with a clean, dry cloth until the area is completely dry.
