The first step in removing blood stains from Dobby is to treat the stain as soon as possible. Don't wait to get started - the longer blood is on fabric, the harder it will be to remove. Gently remove any excess blood from the surface by blotting stain with a clean, dry cloth. Make sure to never scrub or rub the stain - this could damage the fabric and make the stain worse.
Next, mix a solution of equal parts cold water and white vinegar. Then, apply a few drops of the solution onto the stain and let it sit for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, use a clean cloth to dab up vinegar solution. Be sure to dab away from the stain, not directly onto it.
Finally, rinse the area with cold water. If the stain still remains, repeat the process until it completely disappears. Never apply warm or hot water to a non-washable stain, as this could cause the blood to set deeper into fabric. Additionally, avoid using detergents of any kind.
With these easy steps, you can ensure that your Dobby fabric remains clean and stain-free. Always remember to treat blood stains as quickly as possible to avoid permanent damage.
