What You Need
- Cold water
- Detergent
- Lemon juice
- Salt
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Hydrogen peroxide 3%
Instructions
- First, you must act quickly! Blot (don’t rub!) the stain with a paper towel or cloth to absorb as much of the blood as possible.
- Create a mix of cold water and detergent, then gently dab stain with this solution.
- Mix equal parts of lemon juice and salt. Then rub this into the stain. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
- Mix equal parts of white vinegar and cool water. Dab stain and let sit for approximately 10 minutes.
- Create a mixture of hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and a few drops of water until you have a paste. Rub the paste into the stain and let it sit for another 10 minutes. Rinse area with cold water afterwards.
- Finally, machine wash clothing item according to instructions on the tag. Line dry after.
