What You Need

  • Cold water
  • Detergent
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Hydrogen peroxide 3%

Instructions

  1. First, you must act quickly! Blot (don’t rub!) the stain with a paper towel or cloth to absorb as much of the blood as possible.
  2. Create a mix of cold water and detergent, then gently dab stain with this solution.
  3. Mix equal parts of lemon juice and salt. Then rub this into the stain. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
  4. Mix equal parts of white vinegar and cool water. Dab stain and let sit for approximately 10 minutes.
  5. Create a mixture of hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and a few drops of water until you have a paste. Rub the paste into the stain and let it sit for another 10 minutes. Rinse area with cold water afterwards.
  6. Finally, machine wash clothing item according to instructions on the tag. Line dry after.
