Removing blood stains from Cornelli lace can be a tricky task, if not done properly. To make sure you don’t damage the fabric while trying to get rid of the stain, here are some tips and tricks on how to clean blood from Cornelli lace.
The first step is to soak the stained fabric in cold water for about 15 minutes. This will help loosen stain and make it easier to remove. Make sure the water temperature doesn’t exceed 30°C (86°F).
In a bowl, mix one part dishwashing liquid with one part hydrogen peroxide. Stir the solution until it forms a paste. Then, apply the paste directly to stain and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Using a soft-bristled brush, gently scrub the area where the stain is located. Don’t scrub too hard, as this can cause fabric to tear. Rinse out the cleaning solution and repeat the process if the stain hasn’t been removed.
Once you’re done scrubbing, wash the fabric using a mild detergent and lukewarm water. Rinse the fabric thoroughly and hang it up to dry. If the stain didn’t come out, you may need to repeat the process again.
If stain still hasn’t been removed, try soaking the fabric in vinegar or lemon juice for 10 minutes. You can also try rubbing the stained area with a cloth soaked in vinegar or lemon juice. Rinse off the vinegar or lemon juice and hang fabric to dry.
With these tips and tricks, you’ll be able to successfully remove blood stains from Cornelli lace without damaging the fabric. Do you have any other tips that can help? Let us know in comments!
