  • Step 1: Soak the stain in cold water. Use a spray bottle or sponge to saturate the stain with cold water.
  • Step 2: Make a scrubbing paste. Mix together one tablespoon of salt and two tablespoons of baking soda. You can add a few drops of cold water if necessary to make a thick paste.
  • Step 3: Rub the paste onto the stain. Dip a cloth in the paste and apply it to the stain. Scrub gently in a circular motion for 1 minute.
  • Step 4: Rinse paste off with cold water. Use a wet cloth to rinse off the paste and stain.
  • Step 5: Remove any remaining residue with a damp cloth. Scrub gently with a damp cloth until the stain is completely gone.
  • Step 6: Allow the shoes to dry completely before wearing them again.
