Cleaning blood stains off of clogs can be a tricky business. Blood is almost impossible to remove once it has dried, so it’s best to tackle the stain as soon as possible. The sooner you act, the fewer problems you will have during cleaning process. Follow these instructions to make sure your clogs are stain-free.

Materials Needed

  • Lemon juice
  • Salt
  • Detergent
  • Warm water
  • Scrub brush or cloth
  • Towel

Instructions

  1. Mix a cup of warm water with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and pour it into a bowl.
  2. Mix in a tablespoon of salt and stir until it is completely dissolved.
  3. Dip the scrub brush or cloth in the bowl and rub it gently on the stained area.
  4. Rinse the brush/cloth again, and then apply a small amount of detergent directly to stain.
  5. Gently scrub area for a few minutes and rinse it with clean water.
  6. Pat clog with a clean towel.
  7. Allow the clog to air-dry.
