Follow these easy steps to restore your chiffon fabric to its natural beauty.
Materials Needed
- Cold water
- Unscented dish soap
- Cotton swab
- White vinegar (optional)
Directions
- Act quickly! The sooner you treat the stain, the more likely it is to come out completely.
- Wet the stained area using cold water. Do not use hot water or rubbing alcohol, as that could cause the stain to set in further.
- Apply a small amount of unscented liquid dish soap to the stained area and lather up with your hands.
- Use a cotton swab dipped in cold water to gently scrub the stained area. Do not rub too hard – be gentle, as chiffon fabric can be delicate.
- Rinse the area with cold water and let dry.
- If the stain is still visible, try soaking area in a solution of white vinegar and cold water for 1 hour. Then, rewash with dish soap and cold water.
