Gently blot the stained area with a dry white cloth or paper towel to remove as much excess blood as possible. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the lace, as that may damage fibers.
Mix a small amount of liquid detergent with warm water, and using a soft-bristled brush or sponge, apply it to the stained area and gently rub. Rinse lace thoroughly with cold water, and repeat if necessary until the stain has disappeared.
Soak the stained portion of lace in cold water, then machine-wash it on a gentle cycle or hand-wash it with a mild detergent. Don't forget to rinse the fabric completely.
Air-dry the lace, making sure not to place it in direct sunlight, which may cause discoloration. Once fabric is completely dry, use a warm iron to press the area where the stain was. This should remove any remaining traces or discoloration.
