Step 1: Scrape Off Any Dried Blood Stains

Gently scrape off any dried blood stains with a toothbrush. Do not scrub it into the fabric, as this will only make the stain worse. If stain is still wet, use a paper towel to dab at it until it is mostly dry.

Step 2: Create A Mild Cleaning Solution

Create a mild cleaning solution using warm water and gentle laundry detergent. Dip a toothbrush into solution and use it to gently scrub the stained area of the cashmere.

Step 3: Rinse The Cleaned Area

Rinse the cleaned area using cold water and press out any excess moisture. Do not wring or twist the fabric as this could cause damage.

Step 4: Air Dry The Cashmere

Air dry the cashmere by laying it flat on a towel. Once it has fully dried, brush it lightly with a clothes brush.

Conclusion

Getting rid of blood stains from cashmere can be a tricky process, but following these steps will make it easy. Always remember to use gentle detergents and cold water when washing cashmere, as this will ensure the fabric stays in tip-top condition.
