Start by using a paper towel or clean cloth to blot the area. Do not rub or scrub, as this could cause the stain to spread and become set in the fabric. Keep blotting until there’s no more of stain coming off on the paper towel or cloth.
Mix a solution of one tablespoon of oxygen bleach with two cups of cold water in a bowl. Oxygen bleach is a mild bleaching agent that’s safe to use on most fabrics, and it is effective for removing a variety of stains.
Soak the stained area of the garment in the oxygen bleach solution for at least 15 minutes. You may need to let it soak longer in order to thoroughly remove the stain.
Once the stain has been removed, rinse the area with cold water until the oxygen bleach is gone. Make sure to get the entire area rinsed out, otherwise any residue may attract more dirt.
Place your Burberry garment in the washing machine and launder it as usual. Use cold water setting and a mild laundry detergent. If the stain is still present after washing, repeat above steps as necessary.
