1. Try Removing the Stain with a Mild Detergent

If stain is still wet, try dabbing it with a clean towel and then apply a dab of liquid detergent directly onto the fabric. Rub the detergent into the material as gently as possible. Allow detergent to sit for a minute and then rinse well with cool water. If the stain persists, move on to the next step.

2. Create a Baking Soda Paste

Create a paste from 3 tablespoons of baking soda and 1 tablespoon of cold water. Apply the mixture directly onto the stain and allow it to sit for about 20 minutes. Use a soft cloth and just enough water to create lather. Gently rub the stained area with cloth. Rinse the bikini with cool water and check progress of the stain.

3. Pretreat the Stain with Hydrogen Peroxide

Mix equal parts hydrogen peroxide and cold water. Make sure the mixture is concentrated enough to saturate the stain, but avoid making it too powerful. Place the bikini into the mixture and let it soak for 30 minutes. Remove the fabric and rinse thoroughly with cool water.

4. Try White Vinegar

White vinegar helps to break down the protein in blood stains. Mix one cup of white vinegar with two cups of cold water. Soak the stained area for up to 15 minutes before rinsing with cool water. The stain should be much lighter or completely gone.

5. Use Ammonia

Ammonia has chemical abilities, which can help remove the stain. Mix one tablespoon of ammonia with one cup of cold water and stir until blended. Put the bikini in the solution and let it sit for no more than 10 minutes. Remove the garment and rinse with cold water. Check the stain to see if it is gone.

Conclusion

Accidents happen, so don't panic if you find yourself with a blood stain on your bikini. With these methods, you may just be able to remove the stain without needing to use harsh chemicals. Remember to always test the method on a small, inconspicuous area of the fabric first to make sure it won’t cause any damage.
