Blood stains are one of the most difficult kinds of stains to remove from leather, but with the right materials and simple steps, you can eliminate them in no time. Here's what you'll need to do:

  • Gather any materials you'll need, such as a soft cloth, dish soap, hydrogen peroxide, and a stiff-bristled brush.
  • Dampen your cloth with water and use it to clean off the surface of the stain as much as possible. Do not scrub, as this could cause more damage.
  • Mix a solution of 1 teaspoon of dish soap, 1 tablespoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide, and 2 cups of cold water.
  • Using brush, gently scrub the stained area with soapy mixture. Be sure to not scrub too hard or it could damage the leather.
  • Once you have completed the cleaning process, rinse off the area with a damp cloth.
  • Allow the belt to dry completely before wearing it.

Following these steps should help get rid of that pesky blood stain and restore your belt to its original condition. It may take a few attempts, but with patience and the right materials, stain should eventually come out.
