You can typically use an everyday laundry detergent to remove blood stains from activewear. Start by saturating stain with cold water and then rub a few drops of the detergent into the fabric. Work in a circular motion, going outward from the center of the stain, and gently scrub area until stain is gone. Once you're done scrubbing, rinse the area and launder the item as usual.
A mixture of salt and water can be a great natural alternative for removing blood stains. Fill a small bowl with cold water and add salt until the water starts to look cloudy. Soak the stained area in the salt water solution for up to 30 minutes before lightly scrubbing the area. Rinse with cold water and repeat if necessary.
If all else fails, you can try combining hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Mix 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and 1 teaspoon of baking soda together until it forms a paste. Apply the paste to the stain and let it sit for about 10 minutes before scrubbing the area in a circular motion with a soft-bristled brush. Rinse off and launder as usual.
