What You'll Need

  • 2-3 drops of dish soap
  • Warm water
  • Old toothbrush
  • Soft towel

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Start by using a soft cloth to dab the stain to remove as much blood as possible.
  2. Put two to three drops of dish soap into a bowl of warm water. Be sure to use a mild soap that won't damage acrylic.
  3. Dip an old toothbrush into the solution and scrub stained area gently in a circular motion.
  4. Rinse the area with warm water until all the soap residue is gone.
  5. Lay a soft towel over the area and press down firmly to soak up excess moisture.
  6. Let the area dry completely.

Tips and Warnings

  • If the stain remains after following above steps, repeat the process or try using a stronger solution of bleach and water.
  • Be sure to wear gloves and protective clothing when handling any chemical substances.
  • Never leave any chemical solution on an acrylic surface for too long as it may cause damage.
