Step 1: Assess the Damage

Before beginning to clean your watch, thoroughly examine it to determine extent of berry stain. This will help you decide on the best cleaning method to use.

Step 2: Rinse with Water

If the berry stain isn’t too severe, you can try rinsing it with water. Make sure that the watch is waterproof before doing this, otherwise you risk damaging the watch.

Step 3: Soak in Vinegar

If rinsing doesn’t work, you can try soaking the watch in white vinegar. Fill a shallow bowl with one cup of white vinegar and place watch in it. Let it soak for 10 minutes and then rinse it off.

Step 4: Use a Mild Detergent

If the stain is still there, you can use a mild detergent. Create a soapy mixture by combining one teaspoon of detergent with a cup of warm water. Dip a soft cloth or sponge into the mixture and gently dab at the stain.

Step 5: Scrub with a Toothbrush

For tougher stains, you can use a soft-bristled toothbrush. Dip the toothbrush into a soapy mixture and scrub the stain in gentle circular motions until it has been removed. Rinse watch off with warm water.

Step 6: Dry with a Soft Cloth

Once stain has been removed, be sure to dry the watch with a soft cloth. Make sure that no moisture is left on the watch, as this could cause damage.
