What You'll Need
- Cold Water
- Mild Detergent
- Dry Towel
Steps to Remove Berry Stains From Voile
- Rinse the voile fabric in cold water, being careful not to rub the stain too much. This will help to loosen the stain and get rid of some of it.
- Use a mild detergent, and gently rub into the stain on the voile fabric. Make sure to work the detergent really well into fibers of the voile fabric.
- Rinse the voile fabric with cold water once again. This time, lightly rub the voile fabric as you rinse, so that detergent is dispersed.
- Lay voile fabric flat on a dry towel, and then use a clean, dry cloth to dab at stain. This will help to absorb any remaining water or detergent from the voile fabric.
- Hang up the voile garment to let it air-dry. Do NOT put in the dryer, as this will set the stain.
Tips to Keep in Mind
- Be careful not to rub the voile fabric too much when cleaning. This can damage the fabric and make the stain worse.
- If possible, try to clean the stain as soon as possible. This will help to prevent the stain from settling into the fibers of the fabric and make it easier to remove.
- Never put the voile fabric in the dryer, as this will set the stain and make it much harder to remove.
