Start by rinsing the stained area with cold water as soon as possible. Use a detergent that is mild and free of bleach or toxins. Rub small amounts of detergent into the stain and let sit for 5 minutes or so before rinsing again with cold water.
Mix together equal parts baking soda and water and apply it directly to the stain. Once dry, brush off with a soft cloth and launder as normal.
Mix together warm water and vinegar, then spray directly onto the stain. Let sit for 15 minutes before washing in the washing machine. Make sure to use cold water.
For tougher stains, use a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and liquid dish soap. First, blot the stained area with a clean cloth. Next, mix one teaspoon of dish soap with one cup of hydrogen peroxide, and rub the mixture directly into the stain. Let sit for 5 minutes, then rinse and launder as usual.
Rubbing alcohol is another great option for removing difficult berry stains from Tussah. Mix equal parts rubbing alcohol and cold water and apply directly to the stain. Allow to sit for about 30 minutes, then blot with a clean cloth and rinse with cold water. Launder as normal.
By following these simple steps, you can easily remove berry stains from Tussah fabric. Remember to act quickly and, if necessary, try a few different methods until you find one that works best for your specific stain.
