Materials Needed
- Cold water
- Unscented laundry detergent or dish soap
- White cloth or rag
Steps to Follow
- As soon as the stain is discovered, rinse with cold water to remove as much of the berry juice as possible.
- Combine a small amount of laundry detergent or dish soap with cold water.
- Apply the soap solution to the stain.
- Let the soap solution sit for a couple of minutes.
- Rinse soapy area with more cold water.
- Wipe off excess moisture with a white cloth.
- Let air-dry.
Tips to Prevent Future Stains on Tencel
- Always wear protective clothing, such as an apron or smock while eating berries.
- Be sure to wash hands thoroughly before handling Tencel items.
- Avoid eating or drinking while wearing Tencel clothing.
