Materials Needed

  • Cold water
  • Unscented laundry detergent or dish soap
  • White cloth or rag

Steps to Follow

  1. As soon as the stain is discovered, rinse with cold water to remove as much of the berry juice as possible.
  2. Combine a small amount of laundry detergent or dish soap with cold water.
  3. Apply the soap solution to the stain.
  4. Let the soap solution sit for a couple of minutes.
  5. Rinse soapy area with more cold water.
  6. Wipe off excess moisture with a white cloth.
  7. Let air-dry.

Tips to Prevent Future Stains on Tencel

  • Always wear protective clothing, such as an apron or smock while eating berries.
  • Be sure to wash hands thoroughly before handling Tencel items.
  • Avoid eating or drinking while wearing Tencel clothing.
