Berry stains can be quite stubborn and impossible to remove, especially when left unattended for too long. The trick is to deal with the stains quickly, before juice penetrates deep into the fabric.

Quick Steps to Remove Berry Stains:

  1. Prepare a mixture of 2 tablespoons of white vinegar & 1 tablespoon of liquid dish soap.
  2. Dampen a white cloth in the solution and gently blot stained area.
  3. Let it sit for 5 minutes or until stain comes off.
  4. Rinse off area by dabbing with a clean, damp cloth.
  5. Let it air dry or use a blow dryer on the lowest setting.
  6. In case stain persists, repeat steps 1-5 till it’s gone.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Do not use hot water as it can set the stain.
  • Refrain from rubbing or scrubbing fabric as it may cause EMB damage or shrinkage.
  • If berry stain is on a delicate fabric, then it’s best to take it to a professional dry cleaner.
  • Avoid using chemical-based cleaning agents such as bleach or fabric softener on delicate fabrics.
