Nobody likes getting berry stains on their favorite spandex clothing! But fortunately, it's possible to get rid of those pesky blemishes without damaging the fabric.
Before starting to clean the stain, use a spoon or butter knife to scrape off any excess berry residue from the fabric. This will help loosen the stain and make it easier to remove.
Create a paste of baking soda and water and apply it directly to stain. Let the paste sit for 15 to 20 minutes before blotting it dry. This combination helps absorb and lift out the berry stain.
The last step is to rinse the area with cold water and a small amount of dish soap. If the stain still persists, allow the soap to sit for another 20 minutes before rinsing again. Finally, hang your spandex garment outdoors to air dry.
And there you have it! Three simple steps to removing berry stains from spandex.
