Before you start trying to remove stain, you’ll need a few supplies. Grab a clean cloth, soap and water, an enzyme laundry detergent, and some white vinegar. You may also want to grab some rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide if the stain is especially tough.
Start treating the stain as soon as possible. This will help ensure that it doesn’t set into the fabric, making it harder to budge. Soak up any excess juice using a clean cloth.
Mix a teaspoon of laundry detergent (with enzymes) and a cup of cool water. If you have some, you can also add a teaspoon of white vinegar. Stir these together until the ingredients are blended. Apply the liquid to the stain and gently massage it in.
Once you’ve treated the stain, wash the fabric according to the laundering instructions on the label. For best results, pre-soak the affected area before washing it in cold water. Afterward, check the garment for any remaining stains before putting it in the dryer. The heat from the dryer could cause the stain to set, so you should try to avoid it.
