What You'll Need
- Cold water or club soda
- White vinegar
- Borax
- Dish detergent
- Sponge
Removing a Fresh Stain
- Soak up any excess berry juice from stain using a sponge.
- Mix together one tablespoon of white vinegar and two cups of cold water.
- Dab the solution onto the stain using the sponge and allow it to soak for 10 minutes.
- Rinse out the vinegar solution with cold water.
Removing a Stubborn Stain
- Soak up any excess berry juice from the stain using a sponge.
- Mix 1 part dish detergent with 2 parts Borax and warm water.
- Dab the solution onto the stain using the sponge and allow it to soak for 20-30 minutes.
- Rinse out the solution with cold water.
Additional Tips
- If the stain persists, repeat either of the methods outlined above until it has been completely removed.
- It is important not to scrub or rub the stain, as this could cause the stain to spread and worsen the damage.
- Be sure to dry the area thoroughly once the stain has been removed.
