Poplin is a lightweight fabric made from a combination of cotton and polyester. It is a weave that gives the fabric a slightly napped finish and creates a slightly crisp texture. Poplin is often found in blouses, dresses, skirts, and lightweight trousers.
The best way to remove berry stains from poplin fabric is to start by blotting the area with a clean, dry cloth to soak up as much of the stain as possible. Then, mix a teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent into a cup of warm water and soak a clean cloth in the solution. Blot the stained area of the fabric with the soapy water until stain begins to come off. If necessary, repeat steps until the stain is completely gone.
