Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Before you start, make sure you have the right cleaning products and tools on hand. You'll need white vinegar, laundry pre-treatment product, a soft-bristled brush, and mild laundry detergent. If your fabric is sensitive, it's best to avoid chlorine bleach or any product that contains it.

Step 2: Pre-Treat the Stain

Mix a small amount of laundry pre-treatment with some water and stir until mixture forms a paste. Then, use the soft-bristled brush to spread the paste onto the stained area. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then rinse with cool water.

Step 3: Make a Vinegar Solution

Fill a bucket with cool water, then add ¼ cup of white vinegar. Stir the solution until the vinegar is well-mixed.

Step 4: Soak the Fabric

Submerge fabric into the vinegar solution, making sure that the stained area is completely covered. Soak for about 30 minutes.

Step 5: Wash the Fabric

Carefully remove the fabric from the vinegar solution and place it into your washing machine. Add a small amount of mild laundry detergent, then run the machine on a cold cycle.

Step 6: Hang Fabric to Dry

Once washing cycle is complete, remove the fabric from washing machine and hang it up to dry. Your fabric should look good as new!
