To kick off the cleaning process, you're going to need some supplies. Gathering up following items should cover all your bases:
Once you have everything you need, you can start attacking the stain. Begin by making a paste with baking soda and vinegar, then use a sponge or cleaning rag to scrub it into the fabric of the pet bed. Let it sit for a few minutes, then pour cold water over the affected area to rinse away the paste.
If you're satisfied with how the stain looks so far, you can move on to actually washing the bed. Start by filling a bucket with warm water and oxygen bleach or laundry detergent. Add pet bed and let it soak for about 20 minutes. Then take it out and start scrubbing away any remaining residue from the stain with a sponge. Finally, rinse the bed off with cold water.
To make sure all soap is washed away and berry stain is really gone, you'll need to let the pet bed dry. Hang it outside or lay it flat in a sunny room until it's completely dry.
