Berries are a delicious summer treat, but they can be a hassle to clean up after. When it comes to berry stains on leggings, the key is to act quickly before stain sets in. That’s why we’ve compiled this helpful guide to getting those stains out quickly and easily.
What You’ll Need
- Liquid detergent
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Old toothbrush
- Clean towel
Instructions
- Mix together 1 tablespoon of liquid detergent and 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. Stir to combine.
- Dampen the berry stain with a clean towel or cloth. Apply the detergent/vinegar mixture to the stain and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Take an old toothbrush and scrub the area where the stain was. Use circular motions and use additional solution as needed.
- Rinse the area with cold water and apply a liberal amount of baking soda to the spot.
- Let the baking soda sit on stain for 10-15 minutes, then brush off.
- Rinse one more time with cold water and let air dry.
