Start by gently blotting stain with a soft cloth. Try not to rub the fabric or press too hard. This will help remove some of the excess moisture and prevent the stain from spreading further.
Mix a cleaning solution of 2 parts water and 1 part rubbing alcohol. The rubbing alcohol's antibacterial properties can help break down the stain, while the water will help dilute it without damaging fabric.
Using a cotton ball, carefully dab the solution onto the stain. Make sure to only use as much solution as necessary, as too much can damage the fabric.
Once the solution has been applied, use a clean cloth to continue gently blotting stain. Do not rub or scrub the fabric as this may cause the stain to spread.
When the stain has been sufficiently removed, rinse the area with cold water to remove any residue. Let the fabric air dry or use a low setting on the dryer.
