Step-By-Step Guide To Cleaning Berry Stains On Gingham

  1. Mix mild laundry detergent with cold water in a small bowl.
  2. Dip a white cloth into the mixture and blot stained area of the gingham fabric.
  3. Rinse out the cloth, wring it out, and blot the stained area again.
  4. If the stain is still present, mix together equal parts white vinegar and baking soda until it forms a paste.
  5. Spread the paste onto stained area and let sit for 10 minutes.
  6. Wash the gingham fabric in cold water and air dry.
  7. If the stain is still visible, soak the gingham fabric in a dry cleaning solution overnight and air dry.
  8. If needed, repeat all the steps.
