Removing the Stain

The first step is to blot stain with a damp cloth. Make sure the cloth is damp, but not too wet. This will help absorb the excess berry juice and will make cleaning easier.

Next, you'll need to mix up your cleaning solution. Start by filling a bowl or cup with warm water. Add 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 1 teaspoon of mild liquid dishwashing soap and mix it together.

Now, dip a soft cloth into the mixture and gently rub stained area of the espadrille. Make sure to be gentle, as rubbing too hard can damage the fabric. Keep repeating until the stain begins to lighten.

Finally, rinse off the cloth and the espadrille with warm water to remove any residue from the cleaning solution. Allow the espadrille to air dry before wearing them again.
