Step 1: Scrape Away Excess Juice

Begin by scraping away as much of the excess berry juice as possible with a dull knife or spoon. Doing this will stop juice from spreading any further and penetrate deeper into the fabric.

Step 2: Blot with a Dry Cloth

Gently dab the stained area with a dry, white cloth. Try not to rub the stain too hard, as this may cause it to spread even further. Continue blotting until no more liquid is soaking into the cloth.

Step 3: Rub in Dishwashing Liquid

Mix a few drops of dishwashing liquid with some warm water, and apply this mixture to stained area. Gently rub the soap and water mixture into the fabric for about one minute.

Step 4: Rinse with Warm Water

Rinse away the soap and water mixture using lukewarm water. Once again, make sure to avoid rubbing the fabric too hard. Instead, gently dab the fabric with a damp cloth.

Step 5: Soak in Oxygen Bleach

Create an oxygen bleach and warm water solution, then soak the stained area for an hour. Make sure to follow the oxygen bleach instructions on the packaging for best results.

Step 6: Rinse With Cold Water

Once stained area has soaked for an hour, rinse with cold water. This will help set the oxygen bleach, making it easier to remove the stain.

Step 7: Launder

Finally, wash the fabric as normal. Hang the fabric out to dry, and check that stain has been removed once it has dried.
