Bursting with color, berry stains are both fun and frustrating to clean. On cotton canvas materials, in particular, berry juice can be a pesky hard-to-remove stain. Thankfully, with a few simple steps, you can restore your canvas without ruining the material.

What You'll Need for Cleaning
- Lemon Juice or White Vinegar
- Baking Soda
- Hydrogen Peroxide
- Warm Water
- Clean Cloth
- Towel or Rag
- Oxygen-Based Bleach
Step by Step
- Mix equal parts of warm water, lemon juice or vinegar, and baking soda together in a bowl.
- Using a clean cloth, apply mixture directly to the berry stained area.
- Leave the mixture on the stain for 10 minutes, then wash it off with warm water.
- If needed, apply hydrogen peroxide mixed with a few drops of dishwashing detergent directly to the stained area.
- Allow the area to sit for 15 minutes, then rinse off using warm water.
- If the stain persists, use an oxygen-based bleach to help remove the stubborn marks.
- Once the stain is removed, blot the area with a towel or rag to dry.
