There is nothing more frustrating than finding berry stains on a favorite piece of clothing. Berries, while delicious, can leave a nasty stain on clothes. However, don’t worry - there is an easy way to eradicate those stains from your garments without causing any damage.

Step One: Blot the Stain

The first step in removing berry stains from corduroy is to blot the stained area with a paper towel. Blot firmly but gently - making sure not to rub or scrub the fabric. This will help lift away as much of the berry stain as possible.

Step Two: Create a Solution

Next, you will need to create a solution to help lift the remaining stain. Combine 1 tablespoon (15ml) of white vinegar and 1 teaspoon (5ml) of dish soap in a bowl. Mix the ingredients together until you have formed a thick solution.

Step Three: Apply Solution

Now, you will need to apply cleaning solution to the stained area of corduroy fabric. Use a clean cloth to dab the mixture onto the berry stain. Again, be careful not to scrub or rub - simply dab the stained area with the cloth. Allow the solution to sit on the stain for approximately 20 minutes.

Step Four: Rinse and Dry

Finally, once the solution has had a chance to work its magic, rinse the area with cold water. Then, use a paper towel to pat the area dry. Finally, hang your garment up to air dry or machine wash as normal.

And that’s all there is to it! With this easy cleaning method, you should be able to remove those pesky berry stains from your corduroy fabric. Now, you can enjoy wearing your garments again.
