If your beautiful Chantilly lace garment has fallen victim to berry stains, all is not lost! With some gentle cleaning solutions and the right tools, you can restore your delicate fabric to its original beauty. Here are the steps to remove berry stains from Chantilly lace.

Step 1: Rinse in Cold Water

The first step to removing a berry stain from Chantilly lace is to rinse the fabric in cold water. Do not use warm or hot water, as this could cause the stain to set further. Run the fabric under cold water and gently rub with your hands to remove as much of stain as possible. Be sure to avoid scrubbing too hard, as this will cause the lace to fray.

Step 2: Dab Stain With Spot Cleaning Solution

Once you have rinsed the fabric in cold water, create a simple spot-cleaning solution by mixing equal parts water and white vinegar. Place the fabric on a flat surface and dab the stain with a cloth soaked in the spot-cleaning solution. This should help to lift stain out. Do not rub the stain, as this will cause it to spread.

Step 3: Wash in the Washing Machine

Once the stain has been lifted, place garment in the washing machine on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Be sure to check the labels of the fabric to ensure that it is safe to wash in the machine. Hang the garment up on a drying rack and let it air dry.

Step 4: Repeat if Necessary

If the stain remains after washing, repeat steps 1-3 until the stain has been completely removed. Once the stain is gone, you can enjoy your garment looking as good as new!
