If you've ever had an unfortunate incident involving berry mess on your bodycon dress, you know how tough it can be to get out. Luckily, with a few simple ingredients and the right steps, you can have your dress looking good as new in no time.
To clean berry stains from your bodycon dress, you'll need some mild dish soap, white vinegar, a soft cloth, and a toothbrush.
Start by using a paper towel or soft cloth to blot away any excess berry juice. Don't rub, as this can cause the stain to spread.
In a bowl, combine one teaspoon of mild dish soap and two tablespoons of white vinegar. Mix until you have a foamy paste.
Before applying any cleaner to the stain, test it in a hidden area of your dress. This will ensure that it won't damage or discolor fabric.
Using a soft cloth, apply your cleaning solution directly to the berry stain. Allow it to sit for five minutes.
Using a soft-bristled toothbrush, gently scrub the stain in a circular motion. Be sure to apply moderate pressure, as this will help to loosen the stain.
Using cool water and a damp cloth, rinse the area where you applied the cleaning solution. Make sure you get rid of all of the solution and any remaining stain residue.
Allow your dress to air dry or use a low heat setting on your dryer. Do not use high heat as this can set in the stain and make it more difficult to remove.
