Begin by creating a cleaning solution using a gentle laundry detergent and warm water. Next, add a few drops of mild dish soap, such as Dawn or Fairy, to the solution. Ensure that the detergent and dish soap are fully dissolved in the water.
Submerge the belt in the solution and let it soak for at least 15 minutes. You may need to leave it soaking for longer if the stain is particularly stubborn. Gently agitate belt in the solution every few minutes to help loosen the stain.
After the stain has been soaking for several minutes, gently scrub the stained area of the belt with a clean cloth in a circular motion until the stain is removed. Once all of the visible berry residue is gone, rinse the belt in clean water and allow it to dry before wearing.
With the right approach, you can easily and quickly remove berry stains from a belt. Just remember to create a cleaning solution and let belt soak for at least 15 minutes before scrubbing the stain with a clean cloth. Following this method should successfully clean the belt and leave it looking as good as new.
