Before laundering, it's best to pre-treat any berry stains with a mild detergent. Make sure the detergent is specifically made for delicate fabrics, then apply a small amount directly to the stained area. Allow the detergent to sit on the garment for at least 30 minutes before laundering.
Once the garment has been pre-treated, it's time to launder. Launder the garment on its own in cold water and a mild detergent. Don't put the garment in the dryer until the stain is completely gone.
If stain still doesn't come out after laundering, you may need to use a specialty stain remover. Look for stain removers made specifically for berries and follow the instructions on the label. Then launder the garment once more in cold water.
If the stain is still not removed after a few attempts, it might be best to take the garment to a professional. Otherwise, continue pre-treating with detergent and repeating laundering process until stain is gone.
