Berries can be a delightful part of any recipe; however, this great treat can often leave behind sweet-smelling stains. Here are some easy steps to get those stains out of your apron:

  • Wipe down the affected area with a damp, soft cloth until all pieces of the berry have been removed.
  • Mix a small amount of laundry detergent with hot water and apply the mixture with a sponge.
  • Rinse the area thoroughly to remove any soap residue, and then give it a final wipe with a damp cloth.
  • Scrub the area with a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water.
  • After allowing the solution to sit for a few minutes, rinse the area with cold water.
  • If the stain is still visible, mix a paste of baking soda and water, then rub gently into the stain. Allow the paste to sit for about 10 minutes before cleaning off with a damp cloth.

These steps should help you get your apron looking new again! Experiment with different solutions to find one that works best for you.
