Berry stains can be a nightmare to remove from American Eagle clothing. But, with the following steps and tips, you'll be able to say goodbye to those stubborn stains and preserve your clothes. First, check the tag of your clothing and determine the type of fabric you’re dealing with. Different fabrics require different cleaning methods so it's important to get this step right. If you don't know what material your American Eagle clothing is made of, contact their customer service team for help. Next, prepare a solution of equal parts white vinegar and warm water, mixing them together in a spray bottle. Spray the solution directly onto the berry stain, taking care to cover the entire affected area. This will help break down the berry stain and make it easier to remove. Once the spray solution has been applied, use a clean white cloth to gently dab at area. Do not rub as this could spread the stain further. If the stain is still present, repeat process with the spray solution and dabbing with a cloth until it is completely removed. You can also try using a stain remover specifically designed for the fabric of your American Eagle clothing. This can be applied directly to the stain with a cotton ball. Allow it to soak for several minutes before lightly dabbing with a dry cloth. Finally, wash your clothing according to the instructions on the clothing tag. Letting the garment air dry is best, as a dryer cycle can set in and permanently stain molecules of berry.
