With a few simple steps and the right materials, you can restore your alpaca fabric and get rid of those unsightly berry stains.

What You Will Need:

  • A sponge
  • Paper Towels
  • Mild Detergent
  • White Vinegar
  • Fabric Softener

Steps to Clean Berry Stains from Alpaca:

  1. Soak stain in cold water. Use a sponge or paper towels and press down lightly to help the water penetrate fabric.
  2. Create a cleaning solution using mild detergent and white vinegar. Mix together in a bowl.
  3. Apply the cleaning solution directly to the stained areas of the fabric. Scrub gently but thoroughly.
  4. Rinse fabric with cold water. Make sure all of the cleaning solution has been removed.
  5. Apply fabric softener to the damp fabric and let it sit for a few minutes.
  6. Air dry the fabric or use a hairdryer to gently heat area. Be careful not to overheat the fabric.
