If the berry stain has just been spilled, the first step is to absorb as much of it as possible. You can do this by gently dabbing the stain with a soft cloth. Take care not to scrub too hard, as this could cause damage to the fabric.
Mix together equal parts of baking soda and water to form a paste. Apply paste directly to the berry stain, then cover it with a damp cloth. Let the paste sit on the stain for about 30 minutes, then brush it off with a toothbrush or soft sponge.
Mix a small amount of mild laundry detergent with warm water. Dip a soft cloth into the mixture, then gently dab at the stain. If necessary, you can lightly scrub the area with the cloth. Rinse the cloth as needed to remove any soap residue from the fabric.
If stain has still not been removed, try treating it with either lemon juice or white vinegar. Gently rub the juice or vinegar onto the stain, then allow it to sit for at least 15 minutes. Blot with a cloth to remove any excess liquid, then rinse the fabric with cold water.
Now that the stain has been removed, you can finally wash and dry your Adidas shoes. For best results, use a mild detergent and cold water. Allow the shoes to air dry – do not put them in the dryer, as this could cause them to shrink or stretch.
