How to Remove Berry Stains from Accessories

1. Start by blotting the stain with a clean cloth. Gently press the cloth against the stain for a few seconds to absorb as much of the berry juice as possible.

2. Sprinkle some baking soda onto the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Baking soda is a natural cleaning agent that can help absorb any remaining berry juice and make your accessory cleaner.

3. Create a paste with equal parts of water and white vinegar. Mix them together in a bowl until you get a thick paste-like consistency. Then, apply it onto the stain with a soft brush and let it sit for five to ten minutes.

4. Scrub the stain gently with a soft brush. Use a toothbrush or other soft-bristled brush to gently scrub the stain until it fades away.

5. Rinse the area with lukewarm water and dry. Finally, rinse off the vinegar and baking soda mixture with lukewarm water and then pat dry with a clean cloth.

Additional Tips to Keep in Mind

  • Always test your cleaning solution in an inconspicuous area first before applying it onto the stained area.
  • For leather accessories, use a leather cleaner instead of vinegar.
  • For metallic accessories, use a jewelry cleaner instead of vinegar.
  • For fabric accessories, use a laundry detergent instead of vinegar.
  • Always air-dry your accessories after cleaning.
