The first step in getting rid of berry stains is to rinse the affected area with cold water as soon as possible. This will help prevent the stain from settling into the fabric and make it easier to remove in the future.
Once you’ve rinsed the affected area, blot the area with an absorbent cloth to remove as much of the stain as you can. Don’t scrub the area, as this may cause the stain to spread and make it harder to remove.
If there's still a stain remaining, you'll need to apply a stain-removing solution. You can purchase one from a store or make your own using white vinegar and baking soda. Once you've applied the solution, let it sit for 10 minutes before blotting the area again with a clean cloth.
Finally, once the stain has been removed, you can wash the item as usual according to the care instructions. Be sure to toss in a color-safe bleach to ensure any remaining traces of the stain are removed.
