Barbecue sauce stains are one of toughest stains to remove, especially from delicate items such as watches. While it can be a bit of a chore to clean them off, it's not impossible. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to get your watch looking as good as new:

Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Before you begin, make sure you have all the supplies needed for the job. You'll need a soft cloth (or cotton swab), a mild dish soap, warm water, an old toothbrush (optional), and rubbing alcohol.

Step 2: Soak the Watch

To start, soak the watch in warm, soapy water for about 15 minutes. This will help loosen the sauce and make it easier to remove. Be sure that watch is completely immersed and that all pieces and crevices are submerged. Once time is up, gently brush the watch with an old toothbrush. Do not scrub too hard, as this could damage the watch.

Step 3: Apply Rubbing Alcohol

After brushing off the sauce, apply some rubbing alcohol to the affected area and let it sit for a few minutes. The alcohol helps break down the grease and will make it easier to wipe away. Once the time is up, use a soft cloth or cotton swab to gently rub away any remaining residue. If there are still stubborn stains, repeat the process until they disappear.

Step 4: Dry and Polish

Once all sauce has been removed, let the watch dry completely. Once dry, you can apply a polishing cloth to give the watch a shiny finish. And voila! You now have a beautiful, BBQ-stain-free watch.
