The best method for cleaning BBQ sauce from your leather wallet is by wiping down the stain with a damp cloth. Start by soaking a cloth in warm water and a mild detergent such as baby shampoo or dish soap. Gently blot the stain with the damp cloth until it begins to fade away. Once stain has been absorbed, dry the area with another soft cloth.
If your wallet is made of fabric or synthetic materials, you can use a mixture of baking soda and water to remove the stain. First, create a paste using baking soda and water. Spread the paste onto the stained area and let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Afterwards, use a damp cloth to rub the paste into the stain. Rinse the affected area with cold water and allow the wallet to air dry.
To tackle tougher BBQ sauce stains, try using white vinegar. Soak a cloth in a mixture of white vinegar and water and gently wipe down the stain. Allow the white vinegar to sit on the area for a few minutes before rinsing it off with cold water. As an added bonus, the vinegar will also help combat any lingering odors.
