Step 1: Blot the Stain

The first step in removing a BBQ sauce stain is to blot the area with a damp cloth or paper towel. Don’t rub the stain as this will only spread it further, just gently dab it with the cloth.

Step 2: Pre-Treat the Stain

Next, pre-treat the stain with a liquid laundry detergent. Apply a generous amount of detergent to stained area and let it sit for about 10 minutes before blotting it up.

Step 3: Wash the UGGs

Once the stain has been pre-treated, put the UGGs in the washing machine on a cool cycle with a mild liquid detergent. Do not add any other clothing items to the wash and make sure that the water temperature is set to cold.

Step 4: Let UGGs Air Dry

When the cycle is finished, take the UGGs out of the washing machine and let them air dry. Do not put them in dryer as this could cause the stain to set and become permanent.

Step 5: Repeat if Necessary

If the stain is still visible after washing, repeat Steps 1–4 until the stain is completely gone.

Conclusion

By following these simple steps, your UGGs should be good as new. Sometimes BBQ sauce stains can be stubborn so be sure to be patient and repeat the process until the stain is gone.
