  • Clean cloths/towels
  • Detergent (preferably one with grease-fighting abilities)
  • White vinegar
  • White sponge
  • Bowl of warm water

Instructions For Removing Barbecue Sauce Stains From Tuxedos

  1. As soon as possible after noticing stain, blot up as much of the barbecue sauce as you can with a clean, dry cloth.
  2. Mix together a solution of 1 part detergent, 1 part white vinegar, and 4 parts warm water in a bowl.
  3. Using a white sponge, dab the stained area with the detergent mixture.
  4. Rinse the stained area with clean warm water.
  5. If the stain is still present, repeat steps 2 through 4.
  6. Once the stain is gone, rinse the area one last time with clean warm water and blot dry with a clean, dry cloth.
