- Clean cloths/towels
- Detergent (preferably one with grease-fighting abilities)
- White vinegar
- White sponge
- Bowl of warm water

- As soon as possible after noticing stain, blot up as much of the barbecue sauce as you can with a clean, dry cloth.
- Mix together a solution of 1 part detergent, 1 part white vinegar, and 4 parts warm water in a bowl.
- Using a white sponge, dab the stained area with the detergent mixture.
- Rinse the stained area with clean warm water.
- If the stain is still present, repeat steps 2 through 4.
- Once the stain is gone, rinse the area one last time with clean warm water and blot dry with a clean, dry cloth.
