  • Dishwashing soap
  • Scrubbing brush
  • Clean rag
  • Stain removal laundry detergent
  • Baking soda
  • White vinegar

Instructions

  1. Put a small amount of dishwashing soap onto the stained area.
  2. Using a scrub brush, gently scrub area.
  3. Rinse off the soap with a clean rag.
  4. For tough stains, apply a stain remover laundry detergent directly to the spot. Let it sit for a few minutes.
  5. Take a clean rag and scrub spot. Rinse with warm water.
  6. Mix baking soda and water to form a thick paste. Apply the paste to the stained area and allow it to sit for a few minutes.
  7. Gently scrub the baking soda paste off with a damp rag. Rinse off the tent or camping gear fabric with warm water.
  8. If the stain is still visible, mix equal parts of white vinegar and water in a bowl. Apply the mixture to stained area and allow it to sit for 15 minutes.
  9. Take a clean cloth and gently rub the stained area until all the liquid is gone. Rinse with warm water.
