Before starting, you will want to make sure you have all of the supplies needed for cleaning your stockings. You will need a few things that are easily found around the house, such as:
The first step in removing the BBQ sauce stain is to blot the area with a dry cloth to remove any excess sauce. Make sure to use gentle pressure and never rub the stain as this could spread it and make it more difficult to remove.
The next step is to create a paste by mixing baking soda and white vinegar together. Apply the paste to the stain and let it sit for a few minutes before wiping off with a damp cloth.
If the stain is still visible, you can try repeating the process. If the stain has not faded, mix a solution of water and salt to apply to stain. Let this sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off with a damp cloth.
Once you have finished the above steps, check to make sure the stain has been completely removed from the stocking. If it has, your stockings are good as new and you can enjoy your BBQ sauce without worrying about stains.
